Casa de Amor Hobart ("Casa de Amor", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit casadeamor.com.au, book a table, send us an enquiry or apply for a job, and how we use and protect it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Function and event enquiries: your name, email, phone number, preferred date, guest numbers, event type and any details you choose to share.
- Table bookings: bookings are made through our booking provider, NowBookIt, which collects your name, contact details, booking details and any notes you add.
- Job applications: your name, phone number, email, the position you're interested in, how you heard about us, your cover letter and resume.
- When you contact us: anything you include in an email, phone call or social media message.
- Website usage: technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and how you arrived at the site. This is collected through server logs and, where enabled, the analytics and advertising tools described below.
How we use it
- To manage your booking, reply to your enquiry and plan your event.
- To assess job applications and contact applicants.
- To understand how people use our website and improve it.
- To measure and improve our advertising, including on Google.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We don't sell your personal information. We only send you marketing emails if you have asked to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We may use Google Analytics and Google Ads (managed through Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use our site and to measure how our ads perform. These tools use cookies and similar technologies, and Google may process this information in line with its own privacy policy. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the restaurant and this website, and only as needed for that purpose:
- NowBookIt — online table bookings.
- Resend — delivers enquiry and application forms from our website to our inbox.
- Vercel — hosts this website.
- Google — email, analytics and advertising.
Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.
Third-party sites
Our website links to other sites, including Instagram, Facebook, Google Maps and our sister venue Atrio. Their privacy practices are their own, so please check their policies.
How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law, and then delete it. Job applications are kept for up to 12 months in case a suitable role opens up, unless you ask us to delete yours sooner. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within 30 days.

If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
